From the extensive collection of Manos :manos:

Manos said that these would have been made in the 1970's.

Today Cam and Bev Brown confirmed that Forestware has nothing to do with Titian/Orzel.
So we still want to find out who made this ware.

Manos the blue spaniel is the same as the one hon-john gave me that was modelled by Hemara while he was at Stewart Potteries, check this link -

Forest Ware sailor, sow with piglets and big log vase. I just love the colours and the detail.

Manos asked the Brown's about Forestware the day we visited and they knew nothing about it and didn't recognise the photos we showed them.
As Manos worked for Jim Drummond at his Antique shop I guess that was the conclusion for this lovely work ..... ? Manos was really surprised at the Browns response.

Thanks Ev, I am really trying to find something out about forest ware, I also noticed that number 88 was described as: Late Titian ‘Forest ware’ model of a Japanese geisha
Modelled performing a fan dance. English floral transfer decorated. Printed mark. here http://www.artandobject.co.nz/AuctionResources/231/12,43,25,Jim_Drummond_Collection.pdf page 8, and that had me wondering ... it sounds like the one we have posted here http://newzealandpottery.forumotion.net/t3054-forestware-geisha-courtesy-of-peters?highlight=geisha. I am assuming the printed mark they speak of is the forestware stamp.
Will have to keep scouting, as I would love to get to the bottom of it.

I noticed a Hobby Ceramics sailor ornaments auction on Trade Me using the blue Forest Ware sailor mold.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=786025174

Just like it purchased a probable Hobby Ceramics Forest Ware log vase.

May be Forest Ware did Hobby Ceramics classes too.
