John was given this very special Hand Potted vase for Xmas and it has Louie Dean written in gold on the base and has .1951. also on the base. This pot appears to be a personalised gift for Louie
There are no shapes recorded in the 1900's so the vase must relate to the year 1951, I can confidently say.
There are no other numbers on the base and the shape does not match up with any known hand potted vase shapes. It reminds me of the Hand Potted Shape 9, but the neck is much longer. It appears to be a unique shape and has been lathed in the style of Earnest Shufflebotham.
