Royal Oak Trough Vase
Ok, so that name seems a bit grand for what I've got.....
I was at our local "dump shop" today, looking for some door knobs, and this poor thing was shoved on a shelf looking all dirty and discarded. I mentioned to the serving man that it probably was "a thing" and maybe could be given a little more loving attention, so he whipped out his phone, google lensed, and told me it was a soap dish. I tried explaining that maybe it was a vase, but no, soap dish it was, did I want it for $2?
Yes, said I, and home it came. My question is.....
How should I best clean it so as not to ruin the sticker, and should it be cream or white - like, how dirty is it?
thanks, Rosemary

Re: Royal Oak Trough Vase
Oh my heart ..... this was made by Crown Lynn and is Shape 21 made around 1950 and was decorated with paints by Royal Oak.
Just a wash in soapy water should help, but don't soak it as the paint may come off.
I have one, but not the wirework which was added by Royal Oak
