How exciting to see this famous boot that was made after Waikato beat the Springbox in 1956 
I think I read somewhere that the 9. on the bottom of the boot was to honour Don Clarke as that was his shoe size..... is that correct?
How big is the boot? It looks like the mould was taken off a real boot!

This is where I must have seen the reference to the number 9 on the base of the boot ..
