Do these four digit numbers beginning with a '2' mean they are Titian?

Dear mumof1,
I adore your insatiable thirst for knowing Very Happy
If you check the Crown Lynn made at Titian Potteries Gallery you will see that this shape is there ..... 2160.
Yes it was made at Titian Potteries when they were under the Crown Lynn umbrella hence the four digit number starting with a 2.
This urn was also made by Crown Lynn under the old numbering system, I don't have that number at my finger tips, but will find it when time permits.

sorry to be a pain, sometimes I take a wee while to understand these things. Embarassed Sometimes I get quite confused by what people list as Crown Lynn, and whether it is Crown Lynn or Titian (either under Crown Lynn or not). Do you consider that Titian is just as collectable? WHITE seems to be the 'in thing' at the moment in vases. sunny

It is hard to understand as Titian made pottery for years and years and then Crown Lynn bought them out and most of the Crown Lynn vases and many other pieces were made there while Crown Lynn's New Lynn factory concentrated on making tableware.
You do have to be careful though as TM traders can list anything as Crown Lynn so do research and ask questions.
There are many Titian [pre Crown Lynn] collectors, but there are far more Crown Lynn collectors. My advice would be to collect what appeals to you.

The old Crown Lynn number for that vase was 300 ... this came in two sizes.
A helpful tip - if there is a letter before the number it is Titian and not Crown Lynn.
Crikey I've never before seen so many Titian vases listed as Crown Lynn on TM affraid
LET THE BUYER BEWARE!
