CL Replica 's Empty CL Replica 's

One of the last projects I turned on the lathe that my father built in the late '30's was this set of replica Crown Lynn crockery turned from rimu recovered from a scrap yard and possibly milled in the late 19th or early 20th century. I am no longer turning as we shifted to a smaller house and there is no room for the lathe or the attendant mess but Ev thought that some of you might to see it.
The finish is French Polish.
My surname is Shears hence the backstampCL Replica 's Cl_rep11CL Replica 's Bs_of_18

Ev & Marl474 Thank you both for your kind remarks

I have also been thinking today that someone at CL must have had woodturning skills to create the original patterns of cups and bowls in particular to create the shapes.
Turning thrown pots in the leather would have been another skill I would like to have had a go at.
