Old Victorian plate racks ....
Saw a fantastic set of those old plate racks on some show on TV that a dealer bought to onsell and I fell in love with them. I could imagine them filled with crockery from days gone by, all ready to lay your hands on when needed.
They were extremely large/high and would have held an enormous amount of plates and platters..... they looked like they were made using upright dowling positioned so that you could see the patterns when the plates were in position. It has given me all sorts of ideas to display plates and I must check out google too as I'm sure they would have a specific name. No idea what the show was, but did anyone else see them?
