Something weird going on today here.... must sort it out asap!!

I'm bidding on one of these plates on tm ..... wahhhhhhhhhhhh!
Why is that you ask....?
Well in the Museum's Pattern book it showed up a couple of times under different names:
Everglade d139
Safari d202 ...... [just Safari .... no Brown added like the one I'm bidding on]
So I had to get one ....

Won the auction ......
don't need it now, but it will look lovely on top of the crockery cabinet with all of the other adorable Crown Lynn patterns/plates - so I'm kind of pleased ..............
man postage kills me on Trademe these days !!!!!

Saw this pattern in an auction on Trademe today,
but it was in the mustard and khaki green and was called Andora.
Very nice it was too!

I had not picked up that this was the same as Andora, my orange Andoras are in the gallery. I have looked at the one on tme many times and covet it but it is too expensive!

I came across this yesterday, and thought we didn't have it, as the backstamp was so hard to read, but this plate has more flowers on it?
brown - Safari Brown by Kelston Ferrostone Dsc05414
In the gallery we have Safari Brown as d202 with less flowers. This one is d205, so is the one in the gallery just Safari (without the brown)?

I would say that your one is a dinner plate sunshine and Jonno's is a side plate. Marl said that the number was 205 and yet I haven't changed it, so will have to look into this and find out why ....?

I'm going to have to check this out with the Pattern book at the Museum, as there is definitely Safari d202 in it .... but there are only 4 and a bit flowers.
Sunshine may be onto something regarding more flowers .... will have to check and see. Plan to go to the Museum next week, though my list of things to do is very long already!

Can't find our discussions re the 3033, but that Safari advert is from Oct 1974 and the 3033 was first made in March 1973 ..... so it's looking very likely to be correct.
Any thoughts Janice?

Ok.. from checking my notes - we were looking at the cup 3033, but its listed with Monaco d204, snowdrop and Calypso. I think in my mind (LOL) I was thinking all those ferrostone type had the same shape of cup, umm.. back to that 'darnit' drawing board, no proof that I can find that its a 3033 ..
