This is my other purchase from the Antique Fair in Nelson this weekend.

The hand painted picture is very detailed, a rooster I think, and the hand painted flowers go right around the vase.

Such lovely bright colours, very 1960's, on a duck-egg background

Gorgeous rich mottled glaze inside the top!

Although not marked as hand potted, the base would suggest that it is, it looks like it has been done on a lathe. This wee beauty is only 85mm high, but very big on impact! sunny

It's so wonderful when pieces have been signed and dated, as there is no guessing required. MS will be one of the handpainters, so will keep an eye out for their full name. Another excellent piece sunshine cheers

Going by the height mumof1 has quoted for this vase (8.5cm), this would be a 7011 rather than a 7010, as it has been labeled in the gallery wouldn't it?
