GiGi British black bowl
I came across this pure black bowl recently. It's about the dessert bowl size. It has a very small chip in the rim and some tiny bits of gilding missing but otherwise excellent. I think it must be quite rare. I intend to sell it as it doesn't fit with anything I collect. Does anyone know what a piece like this is likely to be worth. Just want to know what start price to consider.

Re: GiGi British black bowl
Well I've only ever seen spotty things with Gigi on it before this bowl and today I see that a spotty Gigi jug sold for $252 and I haven't seen a Gigi jug before either!
Not sure what you should put on your bowl, but the collectors will find it

Re: GiGi British black bowl
This post from Val Monk's blog shows a beautiful deep yellow Gigi bowl, which now makes me wonder if the bowls were made in all of the same colours of the spots ...?

I think you are right. That gold bowl is exactly like my black one.
