Castware shape 1294 Daisy Soup Cup
Ev, I was surprised not to see this shape in the gallery.
A castware, daisy pattern, soup cup.
The number is clear to read but does not photograph well: 1294
H = 65mm, OD = 96mm.
(Sorry I transposed digits and originally wrote the number as 1249.)
(New photo below.)

Nobody has posted that shape on the site before Jeremy .... thank you
Not sure if it's a 1249 as the record for that says: 'Squares Coffee Pot Lid' ......?
I will have to check out the other shapes in that daisy pattern to see what else there is.

Re: Castware shape 1294 Daisy Soup Cup
This style is called 'Flower Border' and then the item eg Flower Border Coffee Mug is 1149.
I haven't found the soup cup yet, but we also don't have the sugar basin 1156 or the large Flower Border canister 1305. I need some time to have a really good look .....

1294 is the number
Sorry Ev,
I got my digits transposed.
I had it right on my photo file name and lost as I was writing.
I was thinking of the 1149 mug so wrote 1249.
It's 1294.
My 12yo, who has better sight than me confirms it.
I will correct it.
DONE!
I have corrected the topic title too.
I'm glad I found a new one. I hope you can find some documentation for it.

Ah yes, that's better! The writing is very faint, but it looks like -
1294 - Flower Border Soup Mug and was first made in March 1979.
