8014 - 13 inch ovalish fluted dish
This plate/dish measure 13 inch by 10 inch - Thanks Ev for finding this number for me
I have put it into the shape gallery under 8014
In the museum notes it says "DESTROYED 30/11/81"
A few items have the same message on that page - would this have been one due to the several fires that they had??

Excellent Janice and it looks just like the one I saw.
These were first made 16-6-70 and the moulds were destroyed in Nov 1981.
I wouldn't think that this was because of a fire, because if they were burnt in a fire the mould makers would just make new moulds. So I feel that there is another reason, for example perhaps it didn't sell well after 11 years .....?
