Cripes. I wonder if this was made after the Crown Lynn brand was sold to Malaysia. In all my years of obsessing about Crown Lynn no-one has ever mentioned Mexico before.

Thanks to a member who had a Crown Lynn obsession for some time, they have informed me that they have a record of an auction on ebay Canada in 2005 of a rooster made at Losifa Mexico for Crown Lynn and it looks just like this one listed.

Ev this is amazing. I have googled Losifa and it does seem to be (or have been) a reasonably large enterprise. I don't imagine it was set up by Crown Lynn, but they must have commissioned the factory to make items for them. Here's hoping more info will come out of the woodwork now!
