3046 Cup Shape has been definitely identified !!
Thanks to several auctions on Trademe which shows different patterns that this mug was made in and old price lists from the Museum and with thanks to Janice's watchful eye and diligence we can safely say that this cup is the 3046 ...

Not sure about the saucer yet, so please ignore that for the time being ....

Yes and I wondered where I got that photo from .....
guess I'd better delete it now we have id on the cup.
Pioneer is another pattern that has this cup, along with Sundowner and that flower one.
