Earthenware Carlton Cup marked Kelston Ware British (with a star)

It is greater in width and height than the vitrified, but thinner in body.
I thought we had a number for this but haven't seen one lately.

... and a saucer to match
Anyone watching the auction for this duo may gave wondered what I wanted with an ugly looking 754 cup and the answer is nothing.

The saucer is also a correct match (I think) for my earthenware 755 cup (as opposed to the vitrified version), still the only example of this shape to appear on the forum, perhaps on the net.

FYI: the saucer is 155 diameter and quite fine. I expect it to be a 744 rather than an 805 but that is yet to be resolved.

bumps for Ev.
From your new information Ev, that the correct saucer for the earthenware carlton is the 805, it looks as though the saucer might not be a match. Pity as it looks good.

Jeremy the 755 cup has a Block handle in that record I sent you. Sorry to confuse you. I'm confused about it too.
Re: Earthenware Carlton Cup marked Kelston Ware British: is this also number 755?
I would describe this as a block handle, but I will go back and check the pic you sent me.
Done. Looks the same.
