That looks old doesn't it. I don't think I've seen it before.
Re: Pattern with no name has a swallow on it
I noticed that this had a bird on it originally -- Little bit hard to see, you can just make out its tail feathers and one wing.
It must have been through a dishwasher !!!!

Kate Slinn has one and the swallow is very clear. It has an Ambrico Made In NZ stamp

Re: Pattern with no name has a swallow on it
Hi Ev. I just saw that on FB.
I took photos of those items on Wednesday as I saw them in the shop where I messaged you about the big white vase.
I couldn't believe it when I saw them as they were simply beautiful.
Just got back from chch ( I'm exhausted )

New Lynn is great for that sort of Crown Lynn.
I would have scooped them up like Dayle did

Just a thought on this cute pattern. The wee bird was often called a blue bird and sometimes even a blue tit. It may help in finding the pattern name - who knows, right? Good luck.

Re: Pattern with no name has a swallow on it
Unfortunately these were made before 1948 and pattern names don't seem to show up until sometime in the 1950's and I must investigate that thought.
There is a pattern called Blue Jay, but it doesn't have any birds on it hahaa and it's from some time in the late 1950's.
Good thinking though, as it made me check out all of your options nana
