Temuka and Richmond handles

I saw this cup advertised as Temuka.

I am not familiar with the shape and am not sure that the glaze is Riverstone as Riverstone varies so much from piece to piece.

What caught my attention was the handle, which is quite distinctive and looks to be the same designer as the one on the Mapua/Richmond/Waimea coffee cup as seen on this one Anne is selling:

I know the handles are not identical but to me the similarity suggests a single designer.

Jack Laird from Waimea Pottery designed the Riverstone range for Temuka so perhaps that could explain the similarity.

Could someone please confirm that the piece advertised as Temuka is Temuka.
(The shape is not in the gallery.)

Yes I've seen these cups and saucers quite a few times and the glaze is Riverstone.
As Jack Laird is connected to Temuka and Richmond yes I agree he will be the key connection.

I have several of these cups in Riverstone and Driftwood. They are very nice to hold onto with that handle and a great size to use as soup mugs. I am 100% sure they are Temuka. I cannot post any photos of them because they are all still "lost" in the container. Sad
