5628? for Gallery
The number is so hard to make out. My family all agree on 5628 but the measurement should only be 90mm by 90mm. This one measures 93mm high and diameter 192mm.

Hmmm I can't get a match for this one and the soufflé dishes are fluted like this one on the Portage site -

Not 8628 ...

but it could be something similar.
I've seen this shape before and could probably find it if I looked hard enough.

5628 soufflé dish: yes it is.

This is a Colonial 5628 and it is a soufflé dish. I am surprised that I haven't posted a pic already.
As per the above link, my Colonial one came in a marked box and the number is clear.
My Jubilee has a mark but buried deep in glaze, and my two-tone brown one has an unglazed base without a number on it, just made in New Zealand.

That is great Jeremy!
We still can't make out the numbers 100%.

Re: 5628? for Gallery
Rushed pics!

Colonial 5628
That's the best I could do. Lighting from one side helps but one image alone does not necessarily give the whole picture.

three 5628s, Colonial (front), Jubilee and brown-on-brown

On closer examination I see the brown on brown one is marked but faintly so.
On that one one side of the 8 is so faint it looks like a 3 but on the Colonial the other side of the 8 is clear.
I use these as fruit bowls. I don't do souffle.
The box for the Colonial is in the attic and not accessible at the moment..

Re: 5628? for Gallery
Why do I have a problem with the description of 90mm x 90mm for the 5628?
Something isn't right ......?

Re: 5628? for Gallery
Maybe it started out as 190 x 90 Ev?

Re: 5628? for Gallery
Yes I think it did .... as there looks like the makings of a 1 before the first 90mm
