An eggcup with writing on it ......
I was shown this Monkey eggcup that has writing on it today.
I can't work out what it says and I want to add that it is under the clear glaze.
Any ideas? I'm not sure which way up it should be so I will post it both ways.
Sometimes I can see Maori spelling ...?

How about TUNNIPM. All upper case. I think the right way up version is the most likely. I have probably got some of those letters wrong cos my interpretation doesn't make sense bit it's a start. Quite often you come across Crown Lynn items with identifying letters on them, presumably marked to they can be collected by the 'owner' when they come out of the kiln.

Tunnel PM ? - Didn't they refer to the kiln as a tunnel?
