511 - Vase Empty 511 - Vase

Post  8omnia8 Sat 4 Apr - 0:34

Hi Crown Lynn enthusiasts Smile I have collected Crown Lynn tableware for a few years, but found my first vase in an op shop the other week Very Happy I looked in the gallery and couldn't find it. It seems to be numbered 511 and is a lovely elegant organic shape with a subtle faceting on the sides.

This is my first post and I don't know how to attach pics ...

Well that was a lovely surprise as I've never seen this shape myself!!
Thank you so much and we will replace the Museum pic in the Shapes Gallery with your photo and credit you for it.
It's very sculptural isn't it and rather delightful and different.

Here is what we have from the Museum records and it's description is Two Spout Bowl Vase ..

Hi Ev, yes it's lovely. Simple but unusual. I hadn't seen the museum image, my page view was small and I didn't scroll across. Two spout bowl vase doesn't sound very elegant! Here's a few more pics to show it a bit better
