OMG it is made by Len Castle and I've seen the other mark as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will check it out when I get a chance ....... bounce

I've asked Tim about the other mark which I think might be Andrew van der Putten..

Tim has confirmed that the other mark is Andrew van der Putten's which means your large mug was made between 1968 and 1970 when Andrew was working with Len.

Thanks not my first Len Castle find..I hesitated over a chipped Jug for $5 once & when I went back it was gone..the disappointment has kept my eyes open for this mark ever since! I found these marks together in the Marks of NZ Potters book too(pg 126)..once I knew who I was looking for. Very Happy
