"Owl Cove" Handcrafted in NZ
Another lady brought the most exquisite jug I've ever seen into the Museum on Monday. It was beautifully made and had a thick band of gold on the rim and gold details over the transfer of swans. This lady thought it was Crown Lynn even though it had an "Owl Cove" sticker on the base. I wish I had taken a photo as I had never heard of this pottery before and now I see a listing on TradeMe with some details.

Perhaps it was made by Pauline Sharp or it belonged to her?
The jug was signed with initials that I didn't note, but the writing was tiny and sweet.
This shell still has a label attached which I will relate as the listing vanishes in around
6 weeks.

Thanks to a post of Facebook, Pauline Sharp was the owner of Owl Cove Ceramics.
Low fired Mayco glazes were used.
Many thanks to Marilyn Duke for the info
