Is this a Crown Lynn large swan?

Is this a Crown Lynn swan with an Ascot stamp (which I have seen as a stamp, but never impressed) or is it English, as I know they were made there first?

Has anyone ever seen the lion mark impressed before? I still wonder about the maker.

Re: Is this a Crown Lynn large swan?
I think perhaps that the mark is not "impressed" so much as reacting with the glaze. Either that or simply pushed through the glaze. I think it unlikely that it has made an impression in the clay body. We see this effect often with pieces in similar glaze. The only difference here is that it is an Ascot mark rather than a Crown Lynn one.
(I'm supposing that it does in fact match the Ascot mark as I have not bothered to compare.)
