1155 Tall Drinking Vessel
The most amazing thing happened at the Swapmeet yesterday.
I was given this 1155 Tall Drinking Vessel by doodlonna from Trade Me as we had fought over this quite some time ago and I lost, but Donna has felt guilty ever since as she knew that it was for the Crown Lynn Four Digit Gallery.
It's the only one that I have ever seen so I am thrilled to be able to add it to the Gallery now.
Thank you so much Donna as I am overwhelmed and overjoyed at the same time.

Re: 1155 Tall Drinking Vessel
Now I have recovered from my surprise at this strange vessel I find that it reminds me of sandwich pattern glass from North America, 19th and 20th centuries, and so may have been modelled on (copied from) a piece of American glass. I will explore.
BTW, I'm relieved it has no handle so I'm not obliged to feel envious. Even so ...
