I found this the other day, initially I thought is was a lamp base, but there is no hole for the cord.

Stage Artware ~ But what is it? A candle holder maybe ? Dsc05912 The hole in the top is blind, there is no ridge etc to hold a candle in place, but perhaps you are just supposed to push a taper in tight and that's it. Any ideas?
