An adverstisement for Royal Oak
Here is an advt which Peter Rayner sent me. From the Weekly News. There is no date - Oakpot, perhaps you could help out again!!!

These were first made in the early 1960's and I have one that was left by the previous owners of the last house where we lived and it was painted with bright green paint, which I tried to remove to no avail not realising that is how it would have been decorated by Salisburys.

The Royal Oak flower pots were sold in 3 sizes. Numbers 529/4 529/5 529/6.
Many 529/6 flower pots had their own wrought iron stand,item number 1200.
The price list below has the number 1200 item. A fern stand with the large flora pottery jardiniere. It also has a factory address 714 Mt Albert Rd,this closed in 1956.
Production of the pottery pots began in the early 1950's
Below a 529/6 flower pot decorated in the late 1960's.
