Vitrified Oval d644 has an inner ridge ring as does Fidelety d362
It's not very often that I see any new to me Crown Lynn shapes any more, but this one caught my eye and cost more than the Dorothy Thorpe cups that I found
I had to enhance it to capture the ridge, so remember that this is in the plain white colour. The pattern d644 on the base stamp rings bells loudly, but I haven't searched for this number yet, but will do when I get time.
Edits to add that d644 vitrified is Noblesse which has a grey band with a thin line of red .... this doesn't make sense to me.
What shape number is this oval please ???????

Re: Vitrified Oval d644 has an inner ridge ring as does Fidelety d362
I have deleted the off topic posts, as this thread is about researching oval shapes.
This Large Oval in the Fidelety d362 pattern also has the same ridge line as that in the first post. Still trying to work out what shapes these will be, as it must have it's own shape numbers, though the oval in the first post is a small one.
The ridge is above the outer line band and looks like another line if you look hard enough.
Janice is coming up tomorrow, so we will put two heads together to see what comes out of it

A dish given to me by a friend has helped me identify these two plate shapes while looking for the dish and I'm simply stunningly happy as I have identified 4 vitrified shapes today !!!
The first oval is an 8647 Small Oval Dish with rim line as 8610 227x150
The big oval is an 8653 Large Oval Dish with rim line as 8647 293x214
Now these can go into the Gallery Ta Da !!
