I can't help without seeing it in the real world Mike, however as it has the number and if there are no initials or date, then it should be the real deal. There are other things that have a speckled glaze, even a medium swan.

Thanks Ev...I think it is right...detail is quite crisp and the Made in NZ and 2083 are there albeit faint.
