Bud vase number 2015
Hi there,
We own a Crown Lynn bud vase, shape 2015, with stamp and number. Today, I found two more of these in an op shop in Hokitika - $1 each! They don't have a Crown Lynn stamp, but do have a very faint number "2015" in the base. The glaze is shiny, rather than the egg-shell glaze of the Crown Lynn one.
Wondering if they are real, whether they are maybe Titian instead of Crown Lynn, or if there is something else that might explain them? Will post pictures when I figure out how!

Lucky you !! That's a great find and an awesome price!!
The 2015 was first made in 1970 and there were many vases that had shiny glazes made during that time.
This wasalso made during the 60's in the matt white glaze and had the shape number 482.
Titian never used four digits, so that helps a lot with identification.
If you email your pics to newzealandpottery@gmail.com I can load it for you

Here are the photos that Dance Armstrong sent to the site.
He says - the ones I found yesterday don’t have the same depth of detail, though the shape is the same. The lip of the vases are also a bit different.
I would like to add that the Modellers Records show that shapes were always being improved in some way.
