Crown Lynn vase 2098 listing on Trade Me. This isn't Crown Lynn.
There is a trademe listing for a vase with 2098. It doesn't look like a CL, it looks 'foreign', but because it started life as a Titian you never know. The listing nos is 1861583637 'Crown Lynn? Vase 2098'.
Could someone cast an eye over it just incase please?

Re: Crown Lynn vase 2098 listing on Trade Me. This isn't Crown Lynn.
Yes I noticed this listing earlier and discounted it for several reasons:
The pastel glaze looks more look Poole or some other English maker.
The striated base is an oddity in the Crown Lynn world.
The untidy base stands out the most to me as not made by Crown Lynn or Titian.
I won't even bother asking for measurements due to the above.
Hopefully we will come across the right 2098 one of these days, so please keep an eye out nana

Hi Ev,
I hoped you had seen it too, my thoughts are similar to yours. Did you see this listing 1860810620
***VINTAGE CROWN LYNN TITIAN BLACK GLOSS TROUGH VASE***, I'm not sure if it is in the gallery or not. there is one there but I cannot see if it has 'feet'.

Yes I saw that and it's definitely Titian, but checked the measurements now just in case and they convert to around 14 3/4" x 3 1/2" so it's nowhere near the right size.
Cheers and thanks Ev
