West Ridge Pottery Taupo NZ (Wayne Porteous and Irwin Lawson)
This beautiful pot took my eye, even though I couldn't work out what the stamp read.
After many tries using magnification without success, the perfect outside light let me see it.
Thanks to Cat who found an advert in a 1986 NZ Potter magazine I now know that this pottery was at:
Honey Village, Taupo
Resident Potters:
Irwin & Raewyn Lawson
Wayne & Sue Porteous
Wayne Porteous made the most beautiful pots ever, so I credit him for the form.
I'm not sure if he or Sue did the decoration, but I love it.
So pleased with my latest find
