Single Glazed Elephant - newer mould
Single Glazed Elephant.
This elephant has exactly the same features as the older trickle glazed elephants however the definition is much cleaner. It is slighty bigger and heavier than it's trickle glazed counterparts. Manos feels it was made by Crown Lynn between the late 1940s to early 1950s.

Re: Single Glazed Elephant - newer mould
Thanks Louise, as I was unaware that there was a bigger Elephant.
It looks like it only has one glaze on it unlike the Specials Department ones that have more than one.
So pleased that you got Manos to check it out and he confirmed that it was Crown Lynn.
