Old fine cup

Post  Ev on Thu 22 Jul - 14:41

Is it a 753?
The Sovereign backstamp is from the late 1950's and 1960's which makes the 700's about right.

I just need two others to agree with me ..... c'mon Very Happy

Looks like a 753 - my notes describe it as EW (earthenware?)

Thanks you two Smile

Yes EW stands for earthenware as opposed to high fired porcelain.
As it isn't a pure white I would say it is earthenware.
OK I will put it into the gallery.
