Post  peters Thu 8 Nov - 13:54

i thought I would write this post hoping that should anyone know of any other Tobys made it could be posted.

Sherwood

A miniature series of the Robin Hood range containing:-

1. Robin Hood
2. Maid Marrion
3. Little John.
4. Friar Tuck.

Unfortunately I have none of these but it would be great if someone who does could post a photo of the base.

5. Gypsy Meg
6. Jolly Roger - this is thought to be the first piece made by Cameron Brown which was decorated by Dorothy Brown. I am luck enough to have this one and will post a picture of it later.

Titian

1. Dick Whittington.
2. Robin Hood
3. Friar Tuck
4. Sheriff of Nottingham

These are the only Tobys I have seen with the Titian mark and I am unaware of any more.

Aquila

Robin Hood series comprising:-

1. Robin Hood
2 maid Marrion
3. Little John
4 Friar Tuck
5. Alan a Dale
6. Sheriff of Notingham

Dick Whittington also produced by Aquila.

As well as all the above there is a large Mountbatten Toby that was shown at the exhibition in 2004 and a Falstaf Toby that I believe to be early.

Anyway hopefully someone can add to the tally.
