Ev was asking about a backstamp without the circle
lovely old yellow Crown Lynn
a bit rough though I sure anyone who understands the conditions these were made in
will appreciate the rugged look
and here is the made in nz without a circle
this mark on one saucer only

This has to be the earliest backstamp used by Ambrico and would be from the early 1940's !!!
