i found this sad looking bowl yesterday. Got a terminal crack, but the pattern? scratch  I don't think I have ever seen anything like it before. It is a typical colourglaze bowl in pale lemon. (Sorry, photo does not show colour properly) but with a design which does not look remotely like dianthus to me.  Suspect Just looks like a lot of painted squiggles to me. Any clues please?

Perhaps it was inspired by the ruffles on a bunch of Dianthus?
Thank you so much Thelma as I've seen this listed on Trademe and hoped that someone would find one. Thanks to the Database I can see that the pattern number is 383.

Thanks to Captainhobson for sharing a dessert bowl in a very dark grey that has Dianthus Pat.No.388 on the base.

Perhaps there are more dark grey pieces that go with this pattern?

I have some Dianthus side plates and checked them and found that they have the number 388 on them not 383.
So I will have to check with the master records to see what it says!!

Also the squiggly pattern is in grey.
