Crown Lynn Dianthus Pat.No.388
i found this sad looking bowl yesterday. Got a terminal crack, but the pattern? I don't think I have ever seen anything like it before. It is a typical colourglaze bowl in pale lemon. (Sorry, photo does not show colour properly) but with a design which does not look remotely like dianthus to me. Just looks like a lot of painted squiggles to me. Any clues please?

Perhaps it was inspired by the ruffles on a bunch of Dianthus?
Thank you so much Thelma as I've seen this listed on Trademe and hoped that someone would find one. Thanks to the Database I can see that the pattern number is 383.
