Magnolia moon two patterns 252 and 609
I have a big serving platter with a different version of Magnolia Moon... just noticed it also has a new design number. Slightly stronger colours and minor differences to the flower shapes, esp the one on the far right.

For comparison here is the Contemporary Ceramics d 609

Hi, are the plate shapes exactly the same.... Or a bit different?
I recently read in Val's book that Magnolia Moon was also made in Aurora Stoneware and this would be a different shape number and pattern number. Well that's the theory

Both these Magnolia Moon shapes are the same, the Contemporary Ceramics shape. The 252 platter is 30 cm. the other is classic dinner plate size at 26. The big platter is not Aurora Stoneware shape. It has the same font backstamp as a big Landscape platter I have BUT the Landscape platter is Forma shape and this Magnolia Moon platter is Contemporary Ceramics shape. Hmmm.
