Royal Oak Pottery dragon bowl number 395.
Dragon bowl modelled by Peter Cooke in clay at the Royal Oak factory.Sent to Crown Lynn to produce blanks then decorated and sold by Royal Oak.

How amazing that I should find one of these Dragon Troughs in an Opshop in the high bisque state, but without glaze or decoration!  It is good to feel the weight for size and to hear the high pitched 'ping' that helps to indicate who made this.
