I was happy to find a piece of Chris Fersterer's work to put on here,
as his mark is sometimes mistaken for Ian Firth's mark.

and his F mark which is very different to Ian Firths.

Is this also one of his then?

I bought this tea pot in the Bay of Islands in the 80s.  I did have 4 cups as well, but they seem to have left my company over the years which is a shame as they were big, round and lovely to hold (as well as look at).

Yes it's a fabulous teapot. So sad I no longer have the cups. But am glad I now know who the potter is, thank you. Is he still based up north do you know?

The Potters' Marks book says he was based in Dunedin, but pots and potters travel all over the place Very Happy
