This spectacular exhibition is on at the newly renovated Papakura Art Gallery
4th June - 3rd July 2010

Brian is an artist in clay!
Actually he has a couple of huge paintings in this exhibition where he has included clay as a medium!
They are extremely stunning and have the distinctive Gartside colour and texture designs on them.

The exhibition follows 30 years of Brian's journey with clay, colour and texture.
An extremely interesting video of Brian at work is playing continuously and is very mesmerising!
The visual feast of colour and texture is almost overwhelming ....
Massive pieces jump out at you, saying 'Look at me first!'
But each piece warrants some time to take in the glazing effects which he has created to perfection!
