Is it possible that it may be JW perhaps? Jo Wilson has a similar signature.

Agree with you about the possibility of sig being "JW" - I'm not familiar with either Jo Wilson's signature or her pots. Cheers

Identification - "Jim?"
Have just searched for Jo Wilson's pottery .. her work doesn't appear to be anything like the bowls which are the subject of the signature. Having looked at Jo's "JW" signature, although it's similar to that on the bowls, I feel there's still a slight difference between where the "J" ends and the "W" starts on Jo's work. Just a thought .................. Cheers

Oh dear, not suggesting it was Jo Wilson, just that her signature is similar, so it may be a W instead of an M.

Yep .. totally agree there's a good possibility that it's a "W".

Thanks everybody for your thoughts on who made the bowls I didn't actually think that it could be a W............but 'yes'! it certainly does hold that possibility
