I'm curious to know if this is NZ pottery, or if anyone recognises the mark "MKM"?
The glaze is a gorgeous green, light turquoise and dark brown, it's about 29cm in height, including the stopper.

This looks like NZ Hobby Ceramics to me.
Is it lightweight for it's size?
The glaze is found on other Hobby Ceramics pieces and is low fired and the piece is glazed all over and fired on stilts that leave those dots on the base.
The initials on the base is another pointer that it is Hobby Ceramics.
Very nice.

Thanks Ev, that sounds right - it is somewhat lightweight for the size. Much appreciated! Smile
