Kia Ora, I can’t seem to find anything online referencing these bookends, despite having a makers stamp and numbers…any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Melissa, these are lovely, but from here they look like they have been made using concrete.
Are they heavy and solid?

Yes good point, they may be plaster.
They are heavy and solid. Definitely not concrete. I assume they would still be produced by a company like Crown Lynn but maybe that’s not correct? Any ideas?

Thanks for your comment.

Ok, it sounds like plaster then.
The only NZ Manufacturer of plaster goods I know of was Coral Craft,
but they always stamped their products, so I really can't help sorry.

Thanks Ev, I’ll try searching under plaster.
They feel very familiar and are stamped so it’s a bit of a mystery.
I expected that the internet would immediately answer with the stamp being so prominent but there you have it!
Thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated
