Very large and finely potted salt pig. The wall are very thin - only about 2mm or less until the decorative top. 25 cm tall and 18 cm in diameter through the belly.Peter Lowrie? Img_9710

I haven't seen this shape before Mike.
Does the clay match Lowrie?
Steenstra did the throwing according to what Peter Lowrie told Val Monk.

Ev the clay does match and the colour here has photographed a little bright. As soon as I saw and felt it I thought it was Lowrie/Steenstra. It looks and feels like much of the Lowrie yellow and brown. I have that decoration on another piece that I cannot lay my hands just at the moment. It is amazing how thin the walls are.
