Baby swan marked 71 is the Fettlers F mark

Hi there,

I have a baby swan with 71 marked on the base (along with the Crown Lynn stamp), is this a rare piece?

The numbers are not very clear and crisp as they usually are ....?

Is it the angle of the photo, that makes the 7 look like a capital L ?
Or have I been out in the sun to long today

Thanks Janice as you have pointed out that it is an L not a 7.
Could be the Fettlers mark.

It has been established that this is an F mark and it would have been made by the fettler to identify who they were cheers
