Well I can't find the number mrnarna.....
The rim is too wide .. to match the museum pic.
I have an old plate somewhere if only my eyes could find it !

Looks like the 766 shape, but cant match up the 17cm (6 1/2 inches?)

The 766 rim appears to be not as large as mrnarna's plate to my eyes Heather.
The size sounds like a Bread & Butter plate doesn't it?

Yes it does, the 766 smallest one looks like a 3and a half inch one??? It goes 766/3 1/2 766 /5 766/8 766/10.
Usually the second number stands for the size - or it does in the vases...
