Found the old Gay Gold plate
The Gay Gold backstamp is from the late 1950's & 1960's
This plate measures 10 and three eighths across.
The shape looks like it's related to mrnarna's old one

Starline British saucer.

This saucer measures 6 inches across..... so glad I have an old ruler

The saucers look like the same shape as the 744 in the Shapes Gallery ....?
Just need to ask Heather for the measurement for the 744 to find it there is a match

Re: Old plate and two old saucers for discussion :D
Sadly all I can tell you is that the 744 is an earthenware saucer...there is no measurement
There is a similar 774 which is flatware..no measurement there either.
