Ive searched and found a "Michael"  makers mark in the pottery marks book, but its not exactly the same font/script. It is i think what you call " salt glaze" and its a very stunning peice of pottery !!

This beautiful bowl has a Shino glaze on it, not salt glaze.
Mike O'Donnell used Shino often.

Ah " Shino" .. i have seen that word used to describe glazes. Still trying to learn!!
I saw the thread you mentioned and thought the cups look to have a simalar glaze.
Yay.. another one of my mystery pieces confirmed.
