Hi all

I am very new to being a fan of Crown Lynn. At the moment taken a liking to Ponui and Polynesia but unsure apart from Trade me where I could look to purchase these. Can anyone give me a point in a direction please?

Cheers

Welcome to the site spacifica Very Happy

If you save to your favourites on Trademe .... Crown Lynn Plates and Platters
they will email you all of the new listings each day.....
and those patterns will get listed from time to time.

Trademe has to be the best avenue for finding the likes of Ponui and Polynesia patterns.
I trawl the charity shops and have never seen either pattern.

Cheers Ev

Hi Ev

Thanks for your reply. Hmm yes I think I also will take to doing secondhand shops etc also. While I really am looking for Ponui and Polynesia there are so many Crown Lynns Ive taken a fancy to, but will try and focus on a half dozen things or so.

Cheers

A big welcome to you also.

good luck with that, I tried to limit my patterns but on a last binge bought close to 100 pieces.

Its just too tempting to not buy a piece you dont have

Thanks both for the welcome. Yes I am a wee bit carefree at the moment, as soon as I see anything, I seem to see and want no matter what or my memory of my parents having various patterns (age related I think)..lol.and I get all nostalgic. Very exciting for this newbie ..and its so good.

Hi and Welcome spacifica

There's a Polynesia dessert bowl listed on eBay at the moment (item no. 140431083861) for $US9.99. It looks like they're quoting $US39.96 to post it to this side of the world. affraid
