Help to identify mark on luminescent vase. Made by John Green of Nelson.
Help to identify mark on this lovely luminescent vase please.
Last letter looks like an F or P but search of those letter galleries does not show a match. 20 cm high.
Can someone also tell me the name of the glaze/glazing technique.
I well remember the Earthworks Gallery in Wellington from the 1970s. Always wonderful art on display.

This pot has been finished with lustres.
John Green of Nelson springs to mind, but will have to be checked out.
Bravo on posting photos
It certainly looks like his work, though his mark seems to vary greatly!
I would go with John Green

Many thanks Ev and thanks too for casting your eye over the odd mark on the not Crown Lynn vase..Found another four or five real oldies like the earlier lot but no time to look further now. Will check CL Galleries to identify numbers and let you have measurements if not on gallery. Regards.Chris
